Welcome to Children's Events.com! I am Sylvia Moren. This website has been created by a mom who enjoys taking her kids to various events around town. My kids and I love going out on the town! I'll bet you do too!

It is often difficult to know what events are happening on any given weekend.  Often, events are not advertised where you're looking or they're simply not popular enough, but are still worth attending. It is time-consuming to find the right event!

The purpose of this website is to track local weekend, children's events in one place so parents and caregivers have the ability to choose from various events from one source quickly and easily! Look no further, I scour the internet and the local papers to find events that are not widely publicized! Local festivals, shows, and performances that you may not find somewhere else! Check often, as I tend to post when I find them! I also post on Friday evenings as that's when webpages seem to be updated!

Your help is very much appreciated. Once you've registered, you can submit your own events to the calendar for weekend events going on in the local Northern Virginia area.  We will post the event as long as it is family friendly and current.  We must be able to confirm your event in order to post it, so please include a link or a phone number for your event. How to Navigate the Calendar

Navigating the calendar is easier than ever.  Each entry has a category so you can view the entire month calendar or simply view by category . To view individual categories, simply click on the category of your choice at the bottom of the calendar page.  There you will see only events relevant to your category.  The week's events are also listed on the main page for easy access.
